Here are some answers to the most commonly asked questions we’ve had so far. You can expect more questions to be answered here as we gather them.
Where can I check my order status?
You can check the status of your order potentially including tracking information in case is has already been shipped here: www.future-press.com/track-your-order – Please use the following shipping partners for your region:
– GLS or DHL for customers in Europe (EU)
– Delivery Group for customers in UK
– UPS for customers in USA
– Canadapost for customers in Canada
When will my book be shipped/arrive?
Books that are in stock are shipped with 1-2 days of an order being received, with most being shipped on the same day. If an order contains a pre-order item, the order will ship as soon as the book is in stock. We may post an update on our website or send a Newsletter if current circumstances mean that orders will take longer than usual to ship.
The book I’d like to order is out of stock. Will you restock or reprint it soon?
Once our pre-orders have been closed, we usually do not plan on reprinting any books. Anniversary reprints are being considered from time to time. How are the books packaged?
We care a great deal about your books reaching you in the best possible condition, so we use strict procedures for wrapping and packaging. All books are shrink-wrapped and will be packaged with additional layers of protection to ensure no movement is possible within the package. Should your book arrive damaged, please get in touch with our support team using the contact form and we’re happy to help! For customers in North America, we’re still working on better protection, please bear with us.
Where does Future Press ship to?
We currently ship to the US, Canada, UK and most European countries. Keep in mind that our carriers do not ship to P.O boxes. We’re considering to expand our list of shipping destinations next year, however, keep subscribed to our newsletter for updates. Please note that not every one of our warehouses has all books available, so titles might be available in one country but not the other.
What are the postage costs?
Shipping to the UK is always £4.99. For other European countries, the current postage costs range from 5.99€ to 16.99€ depending on your shipping address. For US customers it’s always $5.99 and for Canadians it’s Ca$ 15.00. Well-packaged books are heavy items and costly to ship, but we’ve covered a great deal of the postage ourselves to make sure the prices are as low as possible. For customer in North America, we’re still working on better protection, please bear with us.
Do you take the money immediately?
Yes, the money is taken from your account at the time you place the pre-order.
How are returns handled?
If your order gets lost or finds its way back to us as ‘return to sender’, we will either refund the cost of the order (minus shipping cost), or you can pay to have it re-shipped. For returns within 14 days, the book must be in good condition and we ask you to cover any shipping charges. Contact us using our support form and we’ll let you know how to proceed. We can only refund the cost of the book, so we won’t refund the cost of shipping.
Can you change my shipping address for my pre-order?
To update your shipping address for a pre-order, please reach out through our contact form. Keep in mind that address changes may not be possible if requested within two weeks of the release date. We’ll confirm whether the update can still be made.
How do I cancel my pre-order?
You can cancel your pre-order up to 3 weeks before release date. Please note that ordering through our store is not only supporting our business to the highest degree, it grants a delivery in mint condition. If you’d still like to cancel your order, please use our contact form.
My order arrived damaged, what now?
Please head to the contact form and send us some clear pictures of your damaged book and the box that came with it. Our Team will review your inquiry and check if you are eligible for a replacement copy and get back to you as soon as possible.
